The University of Alabama at Birmingham

Why UAB?

We're so glad you asked.

There are endless reasons why you should choose UAB, but here are some of our favorites. Naturally, our exceptional academic programs are at the top of the list. Along those lines, we’re located right next to a bustling business district with tons of job opportunities. We have fun and unique traditions, Division I sports teams, and a growing urban campus—all at an affordable price. Talk about getting your money’s worth.

Academics

Not to brag, but we’re good at this. Really good. In fact, we keep getting ranked on list after list for our academics. That’s nice and everything, but our real prize comes from seeing our graduates go on to do amazing things using the very skills they learned here. We’re proud of them. So can you blame us if we brag from time to time?
